Badminton Grades
Based on the level of play, badminton players are categorised into different grades
- A Grade = Reserve grade, Good club player

When can you become a professional player?
- It takes one year of regular practice, if you want to play badminton at a professional level.
- It takes two to three years of regular practice, if you want to be an intermediate player
- It takes around six years of regular practice, if you want to become an advanced level player.
Tournament Levels
Tournaments are divided into four levels. These tournaments offer ranking and also prize money. The highest ranking and prize money is offered for Super 1000 level.
- Super 1000 – Four tournaments
- Super 750 – Six tournaments
- Super 500 – Nine tournaments
- Super 300 – Eleven tournaments
